The only skill IMO that is OP or useless to have. I use RPF not for my benefit, but for the benefit of the fleet I partake in.(on RPF equipped ships). It only locates one ship nearest you by quadrent, not the exact or absolute location of the ship. We have so many issues with detectability, radar, hydro, CV's.and RL, maybe this skill should be revisited and tweaked. I could see it working if it was in your gun range, 50% degradation and worse on a sliding scale the more distant and the longer a ship has been undetected. If a ship is willing to invest 4 points into a captains build he should get some benefit but to "almost pinpoint?" where an enemy is seems silly. ![]() Had this game been closer, he may have stole a win or a cap. I think this skill should be negated and/or degraded based on distance and time spent undetected. The issue I have is that, should my ship know where he is when he is almost 2x my gun range? Just finished a game in a DD that has RL and we won, they had two ships, lost one and my RL told us basically exactly where he was.
